Comprehensive Pediatric Neurodevelopmental/Psychological Evaluations (ages 2-21):

  • Understand and assess the child’s learning style, neuroprofile,  ADHD, Autism, Learning Differences, Giftedness, and Twice Exceptional “2e.”

  • This in-depth understanding of a child's unique profile results in a clear road map of how to best support the child therapeutically, and at school and home.

  • Families share how empowered they feel following the evaluation.

Dr. Joy offers talks and book readings for clinicians, parents and educators on integrating a neurodiversity-affirming approach, strengthening regulation, and building resilience using polyvagal theory and the resiliency approach.

Meet Dr. Joy

Dr. Joy is a licensed pediatric clinical psychologist in Pasadena, CA, who has been providing therapeutic services for children and families for over 15 years. She specializes in all things related to neurodiversity!

Her approach is relational, neurodiversity-affirming, and whole-child. she draws on neuroscience, child development, and contemplative practices to strengthen our capacity and skills to regulate and manage stress effectively. She believes that we transform and build our resilience through healing connections.
