Clinical Consultation with Dr. Joy

For: multidisciplinary clinicians working with neurodivergent children, teens, and families, including (but not limited to):

  • Mental health therapists

  • Occupational therapists

  • Speech and language therapists

  • Psychologists/Neuropsychologists Psychiatrists

  • Learn and apply a polyvagal approach to supporting neurodivergent youth and their families

  • Become a neurodiversity-affirming clinician

  • Apply Polyvagal Theory in practical, meaningful clinical ways

  • Understand how heightened nervous system stress affects neurodivergent individuals—and how to build resilience

  • Equip caregivers with tools to support co-regulation and strengthen family connection

  • Cultivate a community and professional connections

Individual Consultation

Schedule 

  • Determined by the clinician and Dr. Joy

  • Flexible options are available for monthly or “as needed” consultation

  • Both in-person and virtual options are available

  • Meetings are 45 minutes long

  • A rate range of $150-$275 per meeting

Structure

  • Mindful moment

  • Therapist shares clinical support areas needed for current/future meetings

  • Collaborative discussion of conceptualization and interventions 

  • Dr. Joy encourages reflective practice and discussion

Group Study and Consultation

Session Structure:

  • In-depth teaching Discussion

  • Case Consultation

Fee Scale:

  • Suggested fee is $65-$75 per meeting

  • For clinicians in the non-profit community or just starting to build their practice, a reduced rate of $55 is offered

  • For established clinicians who would like to help out other clinicians, a rate of $75 is offered‍ ‍
