Parents and Caregivers - you are not alone!  Parenting is HARD and one of the most meaningful experiences we will have.  All children/teens have the right to learn and thrive.  All families deserve support.  Dr. Joy is here to help and she supports families that she works with how she would want her own family to be treated.

Dr. Joy is a licensed pediatric clinical psychologist in Pasadena, CA who has been providing therapeutic services for over 15 years.  She offers Comprehensive pediatric evaluation, Parenting support, and Presentations and Training.  She specializes in all things related to neurodiversity! Parents often share how empowered they feel as a parent following the evaluation or parenting support sessions.


Dr. Joy understands the pain and impact of stress on our hearts, minds, and daily lives.  She draws on neuroscience, child development, and contemplative practices to strengthen our capacity and skills to regulate and manage stress effectively. She believes that we transform and build our resilience through healing connections.  

Dr. Joy is biracial of South Asian Indian/white descent and values providing culturally affirming services. 

Dr. Joy recently authored A Kids Book About Nervous System Regulation! This book is being used widely by parents, educators, and clinicians to build an understanding of regulation and our protective stress responses.  Many have shared how helpful it has been to build regulation and empathy.
