How do I contact Dr. Joy?
  • Email [email protected]
  • Schedule an initial 15-minute free phone consultation to share your hopes, discuss any questions, and hear about Dr. Joy’s approach.
  • If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please dial 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.


What should I expect for my first session?

The first session varies depending on service and often  includes the following structure:

  • Review session plan/agenda
  • Brief mindful moment
  • Share hopes and concerns to develop your goals
  • Review any questions
  • Review paperwork and discuss confidentiality 
  • Discuss logistics and scheduling
  • Move forward with specific service being requested


What are your fees?  Do you take insurance?
  • Please contact Dr. Joy to learn specific fees for each service.  She is able to provide a percentage of sliding sliding services.
  • At this time, Dr. Joy does not take insurance.  She is happy to provide a super bill so that you can be reimbursed by your insurance company at their rate.


What is your cancellation policy?
  • Please email as soon as possible if you need to cancel and at least 24 hours in advance.


Do you provide services outside of California?
  • Dr. Joy is only licensed in California and can only provide services to individuals currently residing in California.
